- The children have also been practicing eating their lunch on chairs without the tables, as when they are at big school they won’t always get to sit at tables to eat.

- Rutherford’s Mighty Meteors participated in big school week where they were able to have lots of practical experience of lunch times at school. The children chose from a canteen menu and used replica money to buy items for their lunch. They then took these items down to the kitchen for Dan to prepare. The children ate lunch from their lunchboxes or lunch order in the playground.
