Dr. SuessWell friends, we are back into the swing of things. I can hardly believe we are at the end of summer holidays and soon enough we will be well into early morning sport, dance classes, school projects and so much more. The saying, ‘time flies’ is so true. Where does it go and how does it escape us so quickly? I hope you have all had an amazing summer filled with laughter, sand, surf, icy poles, BBQ’s and more.

As we move into the routine of the year I thought it would be a great idea to share some thoughts with you. As you all know, I am a WORDS girl. I believe in the power of the written, spoken and even the words we think. Words can indeed heal, hurt, harm, build, inspire and motivate. With that in mind I thought it would be interesting to kick off the next season with a few quotes that you can take, make your own and use them to inspire your children to live strong, confident, happy lives.

Quotes:

‘Why fit in when you were born to stand out’ Dr. Suess

‘Be yourself everyone else is already taken’ Oscar Wilde

‘You will never influence the world by trying to be like it’ Unknown
‘Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart’ Piglet
‘It’s a very cool thing to be a smart girl’ Unknown
‘Kindness is a language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see’ Mark Twain
‘Be silly, be honest, be kind’ Ralph Waldo Emerson
“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard’ Winnie the Pooh

Cut and paste these and use them everywhere. Make signs that you can stick on walls, doors or mirrors so that they serve as a reminder each and every day. Love one another and allow the words you speak build into the lives around you. Words are powerful and used correctly, they can change a life in an instant.

Be blessed and have the best week.

Much love,

Susanna xx
