Our Curriculum

The Curriculum of Champions

Loving children – growing champions! This is the heartbeat of our Curriculum at Little Miracles, where each and every day we have the opportunity to encourage your Little Miracle and watch them develop and grow.

We believe that all areas of your child’s development are to be nurtured and valued and place children and their family at the centre of learning and development. Our focus is to provide an engaging, positive, loving and fun environment.

Current research indicates that a “play and interest” based approach to learning is the most effective for young children aged 0 to 5 years. Our weekly program includes family news group times, learning experiences and activities,  interesting projects, intentional teaching times with our educators and incidental learning.  As a team we also take time to plan our daily curriculum, looking to make the most of your child’s learning opportunities.

The Little Miracles Curriculum closely follows the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Literacy & A Love for Reading

We nurture your child’s literacy through our Loving Literacy program. It is an exceptional program and provides the opportunity to fall in love with books and reading as they develop this important life-long skill. We equip your child with pre-reading skills and the foundational skills needed to thrive in reading once they are at school.

Once a month, your child receives a Free Gift Book to extend on their reading experiences at home. Our family news group times also provide the opportunity for speech development, with talking and listening skills.

School Readiness Program

The Little Miracles School Readiness program prepares and supports you and your child for a positive and smooth transition to school.

We provide a structured Preschool program including language, literacy, multicultural experiences, art and craft, music and movement, exploratory play, group times and more!
